Are you an experienced Cable Harness Assembler, seeking a new challenge? We are currently seeking someone on a temp to perm basis, with an immediate start!
As a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality products, my client offers great working hours and the chance to join a busy team!
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the other assemblers within the team, reporting directly to the Production Team Leader. Working Monday to Thursday, 10 hour days.

Key duties:

  • Understand and read customer drawings, bill of materials and wiring schedules.

  • Source parts and assemble products in line with drawings and specifications, to include soldering and crimping.

  • Carry out stage testing processes and inspection during assembly, completing documentation as required and reporting any problems.

  • Source faults and rectify as well as carrying out any essential repairs.

  • Understand and fulfil final inspection requirements.

  • Support the team and business with other supportive tasks.

About you:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and wiring schedules.

  • Technical aptitude.

  • Confident using tools to include soldering iron, crimp tools, heat shrink guns etc.

  • GCSE Maths and English

  • Electronics qualifications would be beneficial

  • Own transport essential
