Marketing Analyst
The prime responsibilities of the role are to undertake analysis and development of reports across multiple areas within the marketing business units. Reports will cover internal customer enquiries and provide confidential reports on the current business status to management as required.
The Marketing Analyst will
1. Generate and analyse business / supplier reports to marketing management, to support business decisions
2. Question credibility of reports, alignment of reports with current business needs and investigates anomalies
3. Initiate, prepare and complete budgets and forecasts ensuring the format is flexible to react to market / management changes to aid business planning
4. Create periodic and ad-hoc reports to assess the performance of marketing business areas and promotions to support effective resource focus
5. As needed ensure the automation of reports to management and on-time delivery of standardised reports to all recipients
6. Review opportunities to produce reports / tools to assist with business decisions
7. Continually increase relevant knowledge and skills relating to the role
A key requisite of the role will be the ability to multi-task and utilise existing networks and relationships with both internal and potentially external customers / suppliers to support the productivity of the marketing department and the company. This will require an effective communicator who can relate to the output required and present information in a cohesive format which can be effectively deployed.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree leave, having worked within a business environment. They will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel, as well as having the qualities identified above.
