Manufacturing Assistant required to support production in order to manufacture our products against the customer delivery plan in a timely and quality driven manner.

The Manufacturing Assistant will operate, inspect, load, check and deburr orthopaedic parts in production, or set to be run on the robotic work centres. You could also learn to operate and work on assembly, laser marking, shot-blasting, the rumble, in-process clean and intermediate cleaning operations

We are looking mainly now for people to work on our week night shifts which starts at 10pm at night until 5am in the morning Monday to Thursday, then a few hours early evening on a Friday. Your salary will be £18,590 plus 33% shift allowance - which is over £6,130 on top of that!! As well as the great benefits below
Have you got an interest in working on machinery, technology and or engineering, are you highly dextrous, detail focused and keen to learn new processes and procedures, as well as grow your career in manufacturing to become a Manufacturing Machinist or Specialist?
As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will set, operate, inspect, load, check and deburr orthopaedic implants using various tools and CNC machines. You will also operate and work on assembly, laser marking, shot-blasting, the rumble, in-process clean and intermediate cleaning operations. You will be part of the Manufacturing shift team working closely with quality and engineering and liaise on handovers with the alternate shifts to ensure smooth running of the machines and to optimise production.
