Tasks and Qualifications:

The Senior Manager Installation Continuous Improvement will both proactively, and reactively, in close alignment with the Installation Data & Analytics team lead how the installation function identifies, collaborates cross functionally to successfully target what, how, and when improvement initiatives identified for focus/ attention areas will be piloted and how their success will be evaluated. Working alongside the installation leadership team, Heads of Portfolio Delivery Excellence, Data & Analytics team and the Group Leader’s of the subdisciplines. The primary function is to create, develop and implement key installation improvement pilots and plans into EMEA ensuring consistency and alignment to the wider EMEA Operations strategic direction and Dematic business strategy. Accountable for the delivery, content, and accreditation of training across the EMEA Installation function. Obligation to build succession pipeline and add security for future success and vitality at every level in the function through continuous improvement, process optimization, training & development & innovation. Responsible for building business cases, quantifying budget, executing, assessing, analysing, developing and delivering strategies and tactical actions to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of the installation function, being aware of best practice both in EMEA and the wider global business, including wider relevant industry best practice. This role works in close co-operation with the Senior Director, HDPE’s, Director Installation Resource, Group Leaders Installation subdisciplines, Engineering, Sales & Solution Development, Project Execution, Purchasing teams and Quality representatives, fostering a visceral intolerance to accepting poor quality in EMEA execution across all dimensions of the operational horizon. Empowering all employees to become actively engaged in ensuring quality related to our processes and delivered solutions is prioritised both with our internal and external customers. As a senior member of the team, this role will also be expected to play a part in strategy development, sales support and ongoing customer support (in liaison with the Customer Service Division). Being actively involved and promoting the EMEA & Global matrix structure of project execution, its reporting requirements and driving standardisation across the installation team. Accountabilities (max. 8 accountabilities) 1. Undertake quantitative and qualitative research in cross functional collaboration to truly understand problem statements and develop viable counter measures. 2. Provide tools and tactics in collaboration with the team to enhance the execution of projects and support Installation in organisational change. 3. Develop and create improvement plans, generate ideas to maximise installation performance which contributes to wider business objectives. 4. Develop, foster and maintain excellent relationships with all relevant internal/external stakeholders across the Global installation organisation. 5. Develop, analyse, evaluate and report on and suggest improvements to the delivery of installation processes and procedures, Monitor and manage the performance of improvement programs including establishing accountability on the overall progress to ensure completion within agreed timescales. 6. Support installation teams in the assessment of existing processes, identifying modifying and reviewing potential areas for improvement. in particular making use of lean methodologies. Desired outcomes include, improved effectiveness and value for money, and employee satisfaction. 7. Produce compelling data driven business cases to enable the evaluation and prioritisation of relevant initiatives mapped to the EMEA installation strategy. 8. Promote, champion, and share appropriately scaled lean methodogies to empower whole EMEA installation community to critically analyse every link the value chain to test for identification of further improvement potential
