About the job

Working in a team with Rachel Devine our Reporting & Analytics Senior Manager, the BI Manager will play a critical role in enabling Help to Buy to generate clear insight from data. You will be joining our small but enthusiastic team, who are committed to making positive change in how data is used and enabling a data led culture.

Job Description

You’ll be comfortable supporting the directorate with complex data and reporting solutions, aiming to automate where possible. You will be proficient in presenting data in a clear and compelling way, to enable insight and decision making. This will be supplemented by your ability to approach a challenge with proactivity, logic, and creativity.

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun, and engaging way and be able to present and deliver the best solutions and understand how to share insights with stakeholders.

You’ll understand how to engage with colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work together as part of a team in a collaborative and inclusive way.

You’ll have experience using data to create insightful and impactful visualisations in Power BI coupled with data modelling experience and knowledge of relational data systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are important. Experience of the wider Power Platform would also be beneficial or if not an interest in developing these skills. We are keen to help our junior team members to upskill so experience of coaching and mentoring to support technical development is also ideal.

Responsibilities

Rachel values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within her team.

This is a rare chance to help embed the future business intelligence and analytics strategy for Help to Buy in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key operational stakeholders you will ensure the efficient, consistent and effective creation of data and reporting solutions.

The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic transformation projects around data. There are some ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst creating innovative solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform.
