Are you a Part Qualified or Qualified Management Accountant looking to progress your career within a Group of Companies?

We have the pleasure of recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an organisation in Newcastle under Lyme. They are a key client on the H2 portfolio and one that is planning for significant growth in the next two years. This business has thrived during the pandemic therefore this is a great time and opportunity to support the Finance Manager and Financial Controller of a group of companies.

As a key member of the Head Office Accounts team, the Management Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager and contribute to the timely production of the monthly management reporting and day to day transactional accounts processing across a variety of areas in the finance function.

Key Responsibilities Of The Accountant Role Include

  • Production of month end analysis and reporting
  • Accruals, prepayments and journal entries
  • Invoice financing
  • Cash flow forecasting and re forecasting
  • Fixed asset management
  • BACS Schedules, supplier payments, Euro payments, additional monthly payments
  • Ad hoc reports for Directors and Managers
  • Month End - Reports/Reconciliations
  • BACS Schedules, supplier payments, Euro payments, additional monthly payments

    • Qualifications
    • AAT Qualified, Part Qualified/Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA - or qualified by experience with a demonstrable track record of delivering in this type of role
    • Full UK driving licence

    Essential Skills
    • Good knowledge and experience of using SAP.
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • Excellent relationship builder and communicator.
    • A high level of interpersonal skills with a ’can do’ attitude.
