We have an opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the Management Accounts team supporting the Senior Management Accountant. This is a rewarding and challenging role requiring financial and analytical expertise, underpinned by excellent communication and organisational skills.

The Management Accountant will play a key role in the Operational Financial Management (OFM) function and will be responsible for reporting and financial management of areas that support the Divisional Management Groups.

The postholder will have a firm understanding of financial issues and ensure that the Management Accounts team has a consistent approach and supports the delivery of the financial performance requirements.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will including leading the production of management accounting information to support the Divisional Management Groups in line with required timescales, ensuring information is accurate, timely and robust.

This role will also take a lead in the annual budget setting process for the division, ensuring that budgets are collated in a consistent manner.

The successful candidate will hold a CCAB Qualification, with a good working knowledge of the NHS and significant experience of working in a management accounting environment.
