This replacement post is designed for a GP with an interest in Dermatology. It is for one session per week.

The post holder will be employed by Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This post is designed for a GP who has an interest Dermatology and will give broad exposure to outpatient Adult

Dermatology and Dermatology surgery.

This session will predominantly entail a general outpatient clinic but may be converted to a minor ops list on an ad hoc basis according to clinical need - as agreed with the Clinical Lead / Divisional Manager.

The Dermatology Department currently has one full time consultant dermatologist, Dr Dr Boon B Tan, 2 part time consultants, Dr Natasha Hashim and Dr Wendy Farrar and one full time locum consultant, Dr Roopa Karumanchery, as well as a part time associate specialist, a part time specialty doctor, an SpR on the Mersey Regional rotation, three GPwSIs as well as specialist nurses with a range of special interests. The department sees approximately 6,500 new patients per annum and undertakes 2,500 day case procedures.
