  • Carryout fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Conveyor systems, fluid tanks, pumps, motors, bearings, electrical systems
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities on automated production facilities. (PPM)
  • Fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair of the paint, etch and wash facilities across the site
  • Able to prepare shift reports to highlight the shift problems and communicate this to the team in a shift handover.
  • Drive improvement activities and work with external suppliers to deliver projects on time
  • Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of Coating and Washing facilities
About You;
  • To have served an apprenticeship in multi-skilled maintenance, preferably in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally educated to HNC level or equivalent in a multi-skilled discipline.
  • Have experience maintaining automated facilities, fault finding and implementing improvements
  • Possess a good mechanical knowledge of pumps, motors, conveyor systems including pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe health and safety rules at all times.
  • Flexible, team orientated and self-motivated approach to work.
  • A high level of knowledge and experience in multi-skilled maintenance within a high-volume production environment.
  • Have experience refurbishing pumps, motors, and bearings
  • Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage their own time and prioritise workload.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, open to change and have a can-do approach.
  • Able to produce technical reports with good working knowledge of maintenance systems.
