The Company

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Washington area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long term position. MTrec are currently looking for people to start within the next 7 days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period.

The Role
  • Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Understanding technical drawings
  • Learning the uses of different types of wood and choosing the right material for the job
  • Measuring and marking wood according to technical designs
  • Cutting wood on machines or by hand
  • Using a variety of hand tools, nail guns and hand saws.
  • Handling equipment / tools safely and within guidelines
  • Visual quality inspection of finished products
  • General warehouse duties if required

The Person
  • Someone with a can do attitude
  • Must be flexible with shifts as will be expected to work overtime
  • Ideally experience in production
  • Physically fit as manual handling is present in the role
