Whatever your skills and experience, we’ll help you to thrive in our inclusive culture.We operate Guinness packaging facilities at Marshalls Road in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Runcorn, in North West England, producing canned, bottled and kegged product for Ireland, UK and export markets. Significant investment is underway at both of these locations.This role is site based at Runcorn which is an 18 Acre site running a 24/7 Operation with 4 rotational crews. It has 2 Bottling, 2 Canning lines and 1 Kegging production line. There are 90+ SKUs with 16 different Beer/Liquid types covering producing on average 23million cases of product per annum.About The RoleAs a Maintenance Support Lead at Runcorn packaging site, you’ll drive effective and efficient maintenance on our production lines and provide specialist maintenance support and engineering functional expertise to the operations teams to resolve complex equipment problems and execute all scheduled specialist improvement activity on site.You’ll actively lead and sponsor capex and brand change activity for your area of responsibility. You’ll lead Implementation Task Force (ITF) meetings and actively develop, promote and drive the sustainable implementation of our practices and processes including Diageo’s Society 2030 Water & Energy saving project.You’ll lead and advocate good governance around internal and external compliance including the delivery of outstanding performance in all aspects of Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Morale to always maintain regulatory standards taking responsibility for identifying and implementing cost effective solutions to optimise use of the repair and maintenance budget.Other Key Responsibilitiies Will Include
  • Leading on performance analysis that drives improvement actions to address adverse performance trends
  • Resolving systemic problems which include breakdowns, fault finding and escalations
  • Leading the action focused team & contractors through collaborative communication with clear vision on medium term objectives aligned with Diageo standards.
  • Continuously aiming for next level of performance through review of Autonomous Maintenance, Asset Care, Focussed Improvement and Collaboration
