Job ProfileJob Profile for Maintenance Operative - SW221693Our client, a Main Contractor, based in Barking, are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The Operative will be responsible for fixing defects and small maintenance jobs on projects across the London area. The work stream includes residential and commercial projects for; local authorities, private clients, educational bodies and heritage organisations to name just a few.The Maintenance Operative will be working with the Maintenance Manager fixing minor defects and small works on completed and ongoing projects across London. This will cover all manner of jobs and would suit a general ’handyman’ type person.It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, will be based local to Barking and hold a full driving licence. Candidates also need a valid CSCS card for the position, but this can be discussed if needed.Maintenance Operative Position Overview

  • Salary: £35k - £40k DOE plus a company van
  • Start date: ASAP (happy to wait for notice periods)

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday

Maintenance Operative Position Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a similar position
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS card (can be discussed)
  • Based local to Barking and happy to travel across London
  • Happy to work PAYE on a full time permanent basis
Maintenance Operative Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £35k - £40k DOE
  • Company Van
  • Other standard PAYE benefits can be discussed
