Your site base will be Swanwick Lodge, which provides secure accommodation for young people. The site has capacity for 16 children all with their own room and bathroom. This is a unique site to work on, therefore flexibility, initiative and being a team player is crucial.
The ideal candidate will provide a maintenance service for the site to ensure that the interior and exterior of the estate will be to a high standard at all times. You will be reliable with a keen eye for detail and the very best customer service at all times.
To be sucsessful in this role you will need the following skills:
Knowledge & Experience
- Solid experience in a maintenance assistant type role
- General Knowledge of equipment and facilities in buildings, e.g. stop cocks, shutdown points etc.
- Knowledge and experience of working in a compliant way with health & safety regulations
- Experience of supporting and being a team player
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and structure work to meet deadlines
- Access to Local Government Pension Scheme (employer contributions starting at 16.1% of your salary).
