Salary - £39100 including Shift allowance, 33 days holidays and excellent overtime scheme.

Training available – On Various OEM Equipment.

Shifts Available – Double Days Monday – Friday and Permanent Night Shift Available

The Company

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client who are a large Global business based in Kidderminster. They are looking to add 2 Maintenance Engineers to their team urgently. The well-known and large global manufacturing group have recently acquired a number of large contracts. Our client currently makes 28million pounds a year, this is an excellent time to join a large manufacturing group.

Overview Maintenance Engineer

You will be working in a Medium to heavy industry environment.

Carrying out reactive maintenance on production equipment and machines across all the production facilities. The role will be 70% reactive and 30% PPM driven. You will be encouraged to have a direct input into the continuous improvement culture and have individual project ownership as you grow your career within the company.

Mechanical duties
  • Working on Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Replacing components like for like on large heavy industrial equipment.
  • Fault finding mechanically on all factory equipment.
  • Reading equipment drawing
  • Following weekly and monthly PPM plans when required.
Maintenance, production improvements and project work.
  • Faulting finding electrically and mechanically on several types of equipment onsite
  • Gain exposure to various machinery.
  • Fault finding to Input and output level on PLCs
  • Work as part of 12-man maintenance team
Essentials
  • Apprenticeship and relevant qualifications open to mechanically and electrical qualified candidates.
  • Previous experience of working in an Engineering background
  • Experience of applying Risk Assessments
  • Experience of problem-solving on maintenance, i.e. breakdowns
  • Preventative Maintenance Experience
  • Knowledge of H&S and safe systems at work
