We have been retained by a specialist Food Manufacturer based in Bolton to source a Maintenance Engineer to support production on a reactive and preventative basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Resolving breakdowns
  • Looking at preventative maintenance measures
  • Working closely with production on improvements
  • Mentoring an apprentice

Currently a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be experienced in working in a manufacturing environment. You will be experienced in both reactive and preventative maintenance and will be proactive in your approach. This is a standalone role so you will need to be a self-starter and have the ability to prioritise your own work.

The hours are Monday - Friday days with a flexible approach to start/finish times. This role offers immediate challenge as well as the opportunity to be involved, and lead, group wide projects. Offering an attractive starting salary of (Circa) £35,000 alongside an excellent benefits package.
