We have an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators to join our Operations team at Fletchers Bakery! Please note that this role follows a 2 day, 2 night, 2 off shift pattern, please only apply if you can follow this shift pattern. Immediate starts are available and competitive rates of pay are on offer.

Purpose of the Job
You will be placed with a team so together you reach plant production targets on a daily basis. You will report to the Line Leader on plant and ensure that strict Health, Safety and Hygiene standards are always adhered to, ensuring our products are produced to the highest quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Independently running a machine on the line, mixing product and working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ensuring any relevant paperwork is completed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Understanding of product specifications and an eye for detail to ensure that specifications and standards are adhered by.
  • Complete quality and control checks in line with high standards whilst working closely with Line Leaders to ensure standards are met at all times to produce best quality products.
  • General lifting of produce with manageable loads as per manual handling training.

Essential Requirements

  • Due to the skilled nature of this role, previous Food Manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Candidates must be reliable, responsible and have a good eye for detail.
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as taking responsibility for key operative jobs is essential.
  • Candidates must demonstrate teamwork, ownership, respect, communication and honesty to align with our values.
  • Immediately available candidates are desired but not essential.
