1. JOB PURPOSE


To support and assist the Assistant Shift Manager in the day to day running of the warehouse in Eurocentral and to be able to do all duties within the warehouse department, ensuring health and safety at all times.


2. Role Key Accountabilities


  • Under license to ensure compliant use of multiple FLT equipment
  • To delivery full food safety compliance at min level 2
  • To quickly and accurately process documentation and resolve driver/delivery issues for prompt and complete stock transfers and inventory quality and integrity
  • To ensure safety first – deliver and maintain all safety standards across loading and warehouse area in respect of own, peer and driver conduct
  • Quality conscious: ensure full compliance with company quality and food safety systems (process control, PPE etc.)
  • To ensure provision of OTIF delivery and despatch – documentation processing, driver liaison and driver support.
  • To deliver requirements for reporting and administration
  • To visibly support drivers, peers and support team to achieve site KPIs and addresses variances to appropriate timescales
  • Ensures standards of conduct and process are maintained and handled through strong relationship development and maintenance, escalating any necessary issues to relevant management in line with company procedures
  • Deliver effective verbal, written and systems communications to ensure consistency of message and clarity of company requirements
  • Work effectively as a peer and enhanced team member to facilitate and deliver as one team using effective handovers and other appropriate means of collaboration and problem solving
  • Adopt a proactive approach to own self development
  • Ensure full GMP compliance
  • To process and administer accurate stock book-ins, receipt, putaway, sourcing, loading and despatch and systems (e.g. M3) updates via D.O.s
  • 100% Accuracy order picking, loading, systems’ updates and paperwork for goods delivery etc
  • Ensuring stock quality, rotation and storage care compliance – completing systems and cross-site and functional issue reporting promptly
  • Produce, issue and administer daily cycle count documentation via Infor M3 and Excel
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate stock levels and hard copy and systems records
  • Maintain full traceability on internal and external records and systems


3. Knowledge, Skills and Experience


Essential:

  • Can evidence experience in delivering great accuracy quickly and safely in internal and external areas at high pace and volume
  • Multi-licenced FLT operations
  • Experience effectively managing driver interactions and frustrations
  • Experience in outdoor working – variable weather (PPE provided)
  • Experience in indoor & outdoor FMCG warehouse environment
  • Demonstrates a sound understanding of inbound / outbound process
  • Good level of verbal reasoning and literacy to support clear communication and report writing
  • Strong relationship building across wide range of personalities – evidence of effective influencing and conflict management

Desirable


  • Strong admin and systems ability – demonstrated skill in MS and scanning and recording tech
  • Educated to NVQ L3 in Warehousing and Logistics
  • Previous experience in high volume Logistics site
  • Warehouse/Logistics supervisory experience
