Machine Operator

Pertemps are delighted to currently be recruiting for a Machine Operator to work for a leading metal fabrication company. Using state of the art equipment and industry-leading software, this company ensures a seamless service for its customers and remaining competitive in the market.

This opportunity is a temporary to permanent position where you will be reporting to your Team Leader.

Shift patterns available are 0730 to 1630 Monday to Thursday and 0730 to 1230 Friday.

Potential requirement to work shift patterns as follows:
0600 to 1400 or 1400 to 2200 (shift allowance payable on top of basic pay / early finish on a Friday)

Pay range (dependant on experience)
Basic day rate £10.50 to £12.70 per hour
0600-1400 rate £11.81 to £14.29 per hour
1400 -2200 rate £13.13 to £15.88 per hour

Overtime available but not guaranteed

Your duties as a Machine Operator will include
    Responsible for the set up and operation of multi-functional computer-controlled machines/robots
    Actively manage all machine control settings and make necessary adjustments
    Measure dimensions of finished product to ensure conformance to customer specifications
    Inspect own work using conventional measuring techniques
    Set up jobs whilst robots are in operation
You will need to possess the following to apply for our Machine Operator role
    Background in manufacturing environment working with metal
    Ability to use measuring equipment
    IT literate
    Work well in a team and individually
    Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
