We have a brand-new opportunity for you to join us as a Loading Bay Officer based in Milton Keynes. Our client is one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK. The office itself is located within Milton Keynes City Centre and has excellent access to public transport (bus and train station is a 5–10-minute walk away). The site provides excellent facilities enabling colleagues to walk, run or cycle to work as well as parking/storage, washrooms, lockers and an advanced modern office space to work in.

The key role will be to safely unload deliveries within the loading bay using correct equipment to ensure items are delivered to the right drop off point for onward delivery to the required floors. You will comply with health and safety training for example Manual handling, traffic marshalling, banksman training ensuring the safety of the team working within the loading bay.

A requirement of the role is to also sort mail ready safely, securely and accurately for onward delivery to correct departments within the building, ensure all security requirements are maintained within the mailroom and accurate reporting via our logistics software solution to ensure KPI compliance.

We are looking for someone who can deal with situations calmly and positively, therefore experience of working with customers would be very beneficial. Experience in reporting observations and near misses would also be of value to this role.

What do we need from you?

  • Basic IT Skills
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service experience

SIA Licence would be desirable, if you do not hold we will put you through the relevant course
