Security Manager

As a Security Manager, you will manage the day to day operational and business requirements of the contract in line with this divisions contractual expectations by leading and managing the site security teams. You will be the initial management contact on all security matters for this division of the clients business, ensuring a consistent quality service delivery and prompt responses to all incidents.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure all staff carry out their duties in accordance with procedures and policies.
• Establish and manage a security team that is well turned out, motivated, well-informed, focused and clear about its role and objectives.
• Maintain and follow fair and consistent disciplinary procedures, with appropriate action as necessary.
• Ensure all employees are trained to the required standard and subject to regular effective performance monitoring.
• Take full responsibility for the effective & meaningful delivery of the SWDP (staff welfare and To advise the client on all matters of security including the review and writing of the security policies and procedures.
• Ensure appropriate training (derived from both internal & external courses) are delivered to individual staff in accordance with their rank / responsibilities & identified training & development needs.
• Drive and develop the team in relation to security skills coaching and needs.
• To manage the deployment of the security team by way of planning, coordination, allocation
• To manage the security personnel working on the sites and take responsibility for the professional conduct & development of the team supervision via the compiling of rosters etc. to cover both duties, holidays and absence development plan) process in all its stages.

Salary: £45,000 - £51,000 per annum (depending on experience) Shifts: Monday - Friday, 45 hours a week, 08:00 hours - 17:00 hours

• Knowledge and experience with security systems.
• Hold a relevant management qualification e.g. ILM 3/5 .
• SIA License holder.
