This facility employs up to 180 staff, and this site has enjoyed recent investment, creating a light, and airy environment to work. They are at the leading edge of new technology, and demand for their products and services is huge and consistent.

As the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support, driving forward organisational improvements.

This role is commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, Wigan, Skelmersdale, Southport and Bootle

DUTIES OF LOGISTICS MANAGER
  • You will be a key member of the Senior Management team
  • Management of the Logistics and Planning team
  • Logistics control and planning
  • New methods application
  • Plant layout
  • Champion a continuous improvement culture
  • Effective labour planning
Requirements Of The Logistics Manager
  • You will have relevant Logistics Management experience
  • Gained within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • To have previous achievements within Logistics
  • An inspirational and collaborative leader
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques,
  • SAP exposure would be beneficial but not essential
