An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER? Do you have experience as a TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER within pressings? Would you like to be part of a small, busy, manufacturing organisation, where as their TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER, you will be given the opportunity to make a genuine impact? This role would ideally suit a TOOLMAKER, who is looking to make their next move upwards in your engineering career. Working on progression tooling ranging between 80 to to 400 Ton BENEFITS £32,000 - £35,000 (Dependant on experience) Excellent Pension and holidays Small, friendly manufacturing organisation A genuine chance to make an impact Superb opportunity to “spread your wings” to move your career forward DUTIES OF THE TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER Working directly with the Toolroom Manager Supporting Press Setters with trouble shooting issues Working with Progressions Tooling ranging from 80 Ton to 400 Ton Carry out Tool Change over and small repairs, that can be done in the press Conduct regrinds and repairs Conduct TPM checks Responsibility for Spares REQUIREMENT OF THE TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER Ideally Apprentice trained in Toolmaking A fork- lift truck licence would be helpful Experience of Pressings / progression tooling Power Press Regulations would be advantageous Happy to work afternoon shift The role is commutable from Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Worcester, Telford, Birmingham and Aldridge (Apply online only) Celebrating 22 Years of Engineering and Senior Management Recruitment Excellence
