An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER?
Do you have experience as a TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER within pressings & would you like to be part of a small, busy, manufacturing organisation, where as their TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER, you will be given the opportunity to make a genuine impact?
This role would ideally suit a TOOLMAKER, who is looking to make their next move upwards in your engineering career, working on progression tooling ranging between 80 to 400 Ton

DUTIES OF THE TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER
  • Working directly with the Toolroom Manager
  • Supporting Press Setters with trouble shooting issues
  • Working with Progressions Tooling ranging from 80 Ton to 400 Ton
  • Carry out Tool Change over and small repairs, that can be done in the press
  • Conduct regrinds and repairs
  • Conduct TPM checks
  • Responsibility for Spares
REQUIREMENT OF THE TOOLING ENGINEER / TOOLMAKER
  • Ideally Apprentice trained in Toolmaking
  • A fork- lift truck licence would be helpful
  • Experience of Pressings / progression tooling
  • Power Press Regulations would be advantageous
  • Happy to work permanent morning shift
The role is commutable from Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Worcester, Telford, Birmingham and Aldridge
