Permanent, full time


The BA (Hons) Contemporary Art and Illustration programme is an exciting interdisciplinary course that offers students the potential to develop an innovative and creative approach to practice and theory.


You should have appropriate teaching experience at HE Level and a strong awareness of contemporary illustration and art practice, including its commercial aspects, histories and theories. The ability to contribute to curriculum planning, pedagogical development, course marketing and student recruitment is essential. As an active practitioner in your field, you will have a research profile that informs your teaching and be connected to a range of professional/creative enterprise contexts. You should hold a Master’s qualification in a related discipline as a minimum academic requirement. In terms of desirable qualifications, a PhD or near-to-completion PhD and FHEA (or the willingness to undertake this) are requested.


You will be joining a dedicated, passionate and forward-thinking staff team and will support the School of Arts and Humanities in a range of professional activities.


If you are currently registered as a student at the University, please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
