An opportunity has arisen for a part time (18.5 hours per week) Lecturer in Hairdressing to cover a period of maternity leave until September 2022 or until the return of the substantive post holder from maternity leave, whichever is sooner.

What you will do?

Alongside your lecturing role, you will help the College to grow its Hairdressing provision. You will therefore be accomplished at communicating with employers to identify training needs and offer solutions, driving forward and expanding our delivery in the sector. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and competent delivering and assessing a variety of hairdressing skills from level 1 to level 3. The post will involve not only teaching groups in College but also assessing our growing number of apprentices in the workplace.

The starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience. Regional travel will be required as part of the role; therefore use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential.
