In recent years the College has invested significantly in its facilities to improve the learning environment for our learners. Capital works have included a vast expansion of the Construction Department and more recently, a major refurbishment of our Hair & Beauty Department. Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Estates and Facilities who will manage all aspects of the College’s estate.What you will do?Managing a team of estates technicians, you will work with them to make sure our estate runs smoothly and is maintained to the highest standards. As a successful Head of Estates and Facilities, you will have significant experience of estate / building maintenance and of communicating effectively with external consultants and contractors. You will have the experience that will allow you to create and implement the estates strategy to improve the College facilities in the future. You will also have a sound knowledge of health and safety systems, providing specialist advice and guidance to managers and co-ordinating the College’s response to its health and safety responsibilities.What’s in it for you?
