Job description
Job Title: Lecturer/Course Manager in Plastering
Status: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,838 - £34,392 (L6-L13) per annum

Are you a Plasterer with a Level 3 qualification? If so, you might be interested in this exciting opportunity within our expanding Construction department at Reaseheath College.

You would be both leading and supporting our learners during lessons in a range of subjects when delivering practical and classroom activities, you will ensure that the students have the basic skills they need to either enter the workplace or to move onto higher level courses.

Your goal will be to motivate and enthuse everyone you work with to achieve their full potential. With the ability to work on your own initiative, you should hold Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths and practical experience of working in the Construction Industry. Strong teamwork and IT skills are also important.

A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential. (We can assist you in gaining your teaching qualification while working with us).
Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
