Job description

Seven Social Care is looking for a Community Short Breaks Worker to work in Shrewsbury to support children and young people with disabilities to access and participate in leisure activities in group scenarios and out in the community.

To also support and promote their independence, life and social skills and any personal care that is required.

Start Date - ASAP

Pay rate - £11.96 per hour.

The role:

  • By providing a flexible responsive, high quality and person centred care to disabled children young people and their families based on an assessment of need in line with their care plan.
  • By supporting disabled children and young people to access a range of stimulating play, activities and experiences in the community or home.
  • By building and maintaining professional positive working relationships with children, young people, families, colleagues and other professionals.

Hours: 30 hours p/w.
