We are seeking a creative and ambitious Learning and Development Managerto join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of Falmouth’s ambitious plans for growth and development.

You will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of innovative and effective learning and development solutions that drive employee performance and engagement and build the talent pipeline at Falmouth University and Falmouth Exeter Plus. Such initiatives will closely align with our 2030 People Strategy which focuses on promoting collaboration and embedding a culture of Open Innovation among our working practices.

Reporting to the Head of Talent and Employee Experience, you will partner and influence senior stakeholders and HR colleagues to plan, develop and deliver learning interventions and change programmes to strengthen organisational capability and individual skills. These interventions will ensure that staff at all levels, particularly leaders and managers, have the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver our strategic goals.

We are seeking candidates with significant exposure to the field of learning and development, including experience in managing all stages of the training cycle, delivering effective leadership development, training needs analysis, facilitating learning interventions, coaching, and developing successful initiatives to change leadership behaviours.

Importantly you will bring new ideas and challenge conventional thinking, be highly analytical with the ability to use data to identify themes and trends and be able to translate concepts into workable best-fit solutions for the organisation.

An on-campus presence will be required for this role, however, we operate a hybrid flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work from home for part of the week.
