You will be part of the CyberSecurity and Technology Control organization charged with developing technologies to protect the Firm from security threats and provide regulatory compliance. As a lead software engineer in the Engineers Channel and Blueprints team, you will design, develop and maintain core application and operational frameworks and services that will be leveraged by the JPMC internal development community to strengthen their application defences against cyber threats and easily adhere to the regulatory controls.

The Role Involves
  • Design and develop software packages using modern programming languages and software development practices
  • Keep abreast of the emerging threats and their mitigations so that they can be incorporated into the product offering.
  • Train and mentor other software developers on secure software development practices.
  • Evaluate changes in regulatory requirements and create new product offerings to reduce developer compliance burden.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Hands on enterprise software development experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices .
  • Experience in developing, optimizing and troubleshooting large distributed systems.
  • Experience with security protocols like OAUTH2, OIDC is a plus.
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative result-oriented culture with strong customer focus
