We are currently recruiting for an experienced large loss handler to join this growing business based in Kent.

This position will be split between office and field based so you will be required to have a valid UK driving licence and be confident covering a large area.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the industry and be experienced in technical claims as well as commercial and domestic property claims of £50K+

The claims handling will including liaising with landlords and tenants across a variety of industries and you will have come from a loss adjuster role.

The Role
  • Day to day management of claims on your portfolio
  • Communicate effectively with policy holders, suppliers and loss assessors
  • Assess liability, record, value and negotiate claim settlement
  • Drive settlement for all claims in your portfolio
  • Maintain claim files in accordance with company and legal standards
  • Support customer relations team with complaints and queries

Your Experience/skills
  • Able to manage own diary and travel arrangements
  • Experience working in an insurance claims handling role
  • High level of understanding of insurance/indemnity policies and legal structure
  • Proven negotiating skills
  • Insurance qualifications
