Are you an experienced Land Manager looking to join a company where you can make changes and act autonomously within your role?

My client is on a growth period at present and is looking for a candidate who can help manage the Land Acquisition process and excel within the role. There is a progression plan in place for this candidate with a promising title change in the near future.

I am looking for Land Manager based in the Leicester area who has knowledge of new build housing and who would excel with a vast and varied workload. Ideally you will have managed Planning Appeals and will have Housing experience.

Responsibilities
  • As a Land Manager you will be responsible for the identification and negotiation of land and development opportunities
  • Both short and medium term in line with budget and forecast requirements
  • Duties will include liaising with land owners, agents and council
  • You will communicate with internal and external parties towards exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion
  • Build rapour and utilitise network to grow land opportunities
  • Get involved with bids across all opportunities
Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Must have worked alongside Northumberland council
  • Your key skills will include negotiation, communication, numeracy, report writing, data analysis, IT proficiency (inc MS Excel), project management and presentation skills
  • Ideally you will have a degree in a planning/property related discipline or will be qualified by relevant experience
