R00183869Purolite, an Ecolab company, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Lab Technician – Day Shift.At Purolite, we manufacture products which help our customers around the globe, mainly in pharmaceutical and life science sectors, with technology which are critical to safe manufacture of their products. It’s an exciting business which helps make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.What You’ll Do
  • Produce agarose resin products in accordance to ISO9001 and pharmaceutical standards
  • Carry out all work procedures properly, reliably and safely
  • Undertake any other tasks as required by the Management of the company
  • The process involves state of the art equipment to successfully manufacture high value specialty products
  • Willing to learn new skills and take on a new and exciting challenge.
What You’ll Need
  • Be able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg.
  • Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance to strict H&S policies.
  • Basic computer competency.
  • Access to own transport.
Preferrable Qualifications
  • Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment is desirable.
  • A degree in chemistry (or similar) is desirable.
Salary And Working Pattern
  • Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off
  • Fixed hourly salary with premium night rate top ups and different rates for working overtime/weekends/bank holidays.
