KPMG Private Enterprise Beyond - Digital Content Assistant Manager

  • Now a UK firm strategic priority, Beyond, which is first and foremost a protective measure of our existing £450m KPE business, is a digital client connectivity platform, co-developed with Microsoft. It acts as a virtual CLP by providing personalised insights; access to expertly curated and managed peer communities; and to tools and benchmarking that will help leaders gain insights from peer insights, KPMG experts and digital tools.
  • Beyond can be currently considered the hyper curator and retainer of relationships. With the development of the platform, it will become our digital delivery channel as KPMGs portfolio of ’products’ becomes part of the platform, to the ultimate ambition of being the Firm’s retention vehicle with it’s always on, 24/7 accessibility that responds directly to client needs in the most-timely and considered way.


The role on Beyond
  • The role is key as we prepare to scale the platform, supporting the development and enhancement of client experiences.
  • The role will support the Beyond Marketing Team and work closely with the Beyond Leadership Team, key stakeholders within our capability groups (Audit, Tax, Consulting and Deals) and the central Marketing functions to help deliver and co-ordinate compelling content, participation in Communities, either through engagement or recruitment as well as driving a compelling event schedule.
  • Working in close collaboration with the entire Beyond Marketing team, the role will collate, analyse and share client insights to drive change and best results.
  • As a guardian of the ’KPMG Beyond’ brand, ensure that any and all produced ’content’ is in line with the platform ambitions, the Beyond tone of voice, and remains in line with client feedback ensuring all activity is value adding for our clients to read, interact or engage with.
  • In addition, you will be required to support the preparation of presentation materials, statistics for inclusion in the various forms of stakeholder engagement.


Principal Duties and Key accountabilities:

Overview
  • Champion the KPMG Beyond platform ambition and purpose across our marketing teams and our business
  • Assist the Senior Marketing Managers and Campaign Managers to lead key elements of the plan to create an environment to develop and deliver extraordinary work - to ensure we are at the forefront of industry debates and events that matter
  • Contribute to the development of the content, campaigns and go to market strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement and client sign up
  • Champion multi-format content types and assist with delivery, especially in the digital sense
  • Contribute to every stage of the sale, create opportunities for relationship development and ensure internal engagement and messaging for all our activities
  • Be able to set, demonstrate and measure value creation and ROI [set against agreed objectives and targets] directly contributing to the platform’s growth
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and the business development teams across Coverage & Capability to develop Beyond’s reach across the business
  • Deliver a data led approach to champion digital and use of CRM
  • Actively work with other teams across Sales & Marketing to deliver a connected one team culture
  • Effectively manage spend across our internal and external agency partners where appropriate
  • Champion best practice in the delivery of cross channel marcomms, proactively innovating across content, creative and media


Key Skills and Experience
  • Brings a commercial mindset and has ability to spot the opportunity in the creation of content
  • Wants to be part of a collaborative, high performing team virtually, across the country and offshore
  • Future focused - proactive and always one step ahead of the curve - and the ability to challenge, be challenged on key ideas and concepts, to foresee the potential impact and value creation of marcoms activities
  • Keen to support the development of value propositions for services and market defining marketing campaigns through content and messaging and effectively managing associated budgets
  • Constantly reviewing better ways of doing things and leveraging tech and digital platforms to deliver high performing content, campaigns and activities
  • Two to four years marcoms or journalist experience - with the ability to develop strong internal and external networks - competitors, professional networks and trade bodies.
  • Proactive, high energy person who brings a positive influence on others
  • Demonstrate that you’re on the path to building a credible and influential profile to challenge and manage stakeholders
  • Analytical ability to review data, content, market trends, insights
  • Exceptional spoken and written communication skills - with the ability to flex personal style to engage every audience
  • Experience of film/podcast creation an advantage
  • Experience working in a professional services environment would be a distinct advantage
  • Great project management skills, with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to get involved in something new and exciting with an eye for innovation
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and dynamic team
  • Experience working on a digital platform preferred, but not required
  • Solutions focussed with a confidence to challenge and resolve ambiguity
  • Brings a real sense of fun and energy to the role
