We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the Catering Bars and Retail Team. This role is fundamental in supporting the kitchen team in creating an excellent student experience, ensuring students social requirements are met on both the Penryn and the Falmouth Campus whilst ensuring we maintain cleanliness and organisation of our kitchens, service areas, dining areas and equipment whilst being compliant with Health and Safety laws.

You will support in creating an excellent student experience, whilst having the work-life balance you require including 26 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a variety of styles of catering units, have a customer focused mind-set and strive to deliver and exceed students, staff and visitors’ expectations.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills, knowledge and ability:

  • To be able to maintain consistently exceptional levels of cleanliness

This post is offered on a 37.5 hour a week, full-time, permanent contract for 30 weeks per year working 5 days over 7 including weekends and late nights.
