Job description

Role: Junior Product Manager

Location:

Salary: Upto £30k

Are you a driven Junior or Associate Product Manager looking for the next step in your career in an innovative, progressive and fast-paced, inclusive, fun team environment. As a Junior Product Manager you will be working on our ambitious Quartex platform at an influential stage of development, responsible for the Customer stream of our roadmap. Supported by our Senior Product Manager, you will lead the product development cycle for all items in your stream, from ideation, validation and planning through to delivery, measurement and iterating further improvements.

About you

While we need you to know the fundamentals of Product Management, if you’re someone who treats every experience as a learning opportunity then you’ll fit right into our growing team. This extends to learning from other teams too – you’ll be collaborating closely with customer-facing teams across the business, and we need you to work with them and our customers to understand what’s important.

You’ll take these insights, often gathered in conjunction with our UX Designer, back to Software and Test Engineers to plan and deliver meaningful solutions. Because of this, teamwork should come naturally to you.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a track record in product development, with experience validating ideas, prioritising backlogs, delivering new features, and contributing to a strategic roadmap;
  • experience working with software delivery teams, preferably as a Product Owner in an Agile environment;
  • strong communication skills, able to both gather insights from, and communicate complex concepts to, a range of stakeholders and customers in a knowledgeable and engaging fashion;
  • the ability to think critically about perceived problems and identify opportunities to deliver value that may not be immediately obvious; and
  • good analytical skills, able to interrogate and interpret available information, as well as identify, set and monitor measures for success.
  • You do not need to be an expert in all aspects of product development: this role is all about development and growth. Above all, we value a keen interest and demonstrable ability to learn!
  • We will offer you in return:
  • A highly competitive salary (reviewed annually), and the opportunity to continuously grow and develop your career. We take great pride in upskilling and promoting our employees.
  • A hybrid, flexible working environment where you can plan your week to allow for work-life balance and that will allow you to work from home at least on three days per week.

Benefits, to include:

  • A generous annual bonus scheme
  • 25 days’ annual leave incrementally increasing to 30 days with the opportunity to purchase or sell annual leave
  • Life Assurance cover offering payment of four times your annual basic salary
  • A day’s volunteering with a charity of your choice at full pay and a charity fund matching scheme
  • Private Health Insurance, a Health Cash Plan and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Health and Wellbeing benefits to include online fitness classes and corporate massages
  • A Mobile Phone Allowance and Working from Home Stipend
  • A pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution
  • A Cycle to Work and Electric Car Scheme
