Location: Remote

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for leveraging technology to help companies deliver their full potential? If you’re looking for an opportunity to utilise your skills in an Agile organisation and influence a growing team at a critical stage of development, then this could be the role for you. It’s is a new position, and an excellent opportunity for the right person to build and shape the Analyst function within the company.

The opportunity

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for evaluating our business needs and assessing how technology can help us achieve our goals as we continue to grow.

You will lead projects to determine requirements in core areas, such as managing customer access to our content and tracking usage data, and work closely with our Engineering team to determine appropriate solutions.

About you

We need someone who can work with internal stakeholders and appreciate their perspectives, untangling knotty problems and complex systems to understand what the business needs to be successful. You’ll have a great analytical eye and a technical background. We expect you to be comfortable with Agile and DevOps practices, and if you’re able to champion Behaviour Driven Development as we roll it out across our delivery teams, so much the better.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a track record in similar roles, with experience gathering requirements, defining problems, assessing impact, modelling processes and dependencies, and evaluating success;
  • outstanding analytical skills, able to gather and interpret large amounts of information and use these to determine a suitable course of action;
  • strong communication skills, able to build robust relationships with stakeholders and explore business needs in a friendly, knowledgeable and engaging fashion;
  • experience in an Agile delivery environment, with demonstrable skill interpreting technical documents; and
  • superb time-management skills, able to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced and changing environment.
