About this role

Search Logistics are recruiting a Freight Forwarder to join one of their clients in Leicester area.

This Opportunity will best suit a individual who has some Logistics background in Export / Imports and dealing with the movement of goods by Ocean, Air or road Freight (multimodal) This role has full training provided.

The Role;

Arranging haulage with shipping line/air/road cargo carriers

Coordinate the importation and/or exportation via sea, air or road.

Raise additional customs documentation to ensure the freight can move from country to country along with any consular documentation.

Use of Freight systems / understanding

Build effective relationships with 3rd parties and engage with Stakeholders regularly.

Data tracking and regularly updated department manager and supervisor with reporting and insights Response

Dealing with End-to-End Operations

The Successful Candidate:

Worked in the Freight / Logistics industry for over a 6 Months

Has understanding of Road, Ocean and Air Freight

Flexibility, positive and outgoing attitude

Systems Understanding: Cargowise , TMS ,CDS , CHIEF ,
