AAT Tutor / Trainee Assessor

Search are currently working with a training provider based in the North West who are growing and are looking to add to their team of Learning Facilitators. As a result of growth, we are currently looking for a Trainer in Accountancy Qualifications.

We are interested in hearing from candidates from an accountancy background who are interested in becoming a Learning Facilitator as the company will put them through their relevant qualifications to become a fully qualified Assessor.

Duties:

  • Delivery of the Accounting Apprenticeship programme remotely using a variety of different platforms including Microsoft teams
  • Support learners through the skills, knowledge, and behaviours of the AAT Apprenticeships up to Level 4 Diploma standard
  • Provide information and guidance
  • Working to specific quality and completion of targets
  • Helping with the enrolment of learners
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
  • Embed Functional Skills within each session
  • To maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management, and assessment for AAT Programme
  • Guiding the learners to the End Point Assessment Skills,

Essential Criteria:

  • Accountancy Qualifications e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Vocational competence within an Accountancy environment
  • Have a passion for Coaching and Training
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Passionate about developing learners and people to achieve their qualifications
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Desirable:

  • Recognised Assessor Award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
  • Experience of delivering Functional Skills (Maths, English and IT).
