Job Summary
Here at Avantor, we are looking for a Junior Business Systems Analyst.

You will work with a team to provide first point of contact resolutions for SAP & other business system queries from the UK.

You will also have responsibility for providing information and solutions necessary for the efficient and compliant operation of the business.
This role is offered on a permanent home working contract and can be based anywhere in Region North: UK, IE, BE, NL, DK, SE.

What you’ll do on a day to day basis:

  • Working with a team to provide first point of contact for SAP & other business system queries from the UK and Ireland
  • Responsibility for providing information and solutions necessary for the efficient and compliant operation of the business.
  • Integration of new functionality and information models into new and existing procedures and providing training to the Sales Services and Commercial teams as required.
  • Maintaining and amending underlying data in SAP as required.
  • A good understanding of all areas of Customer Master Data and how they link into other departments.
  • Promotion of best practice and resolution of operational issues in SAP and related interfaces.
  • Ensuring processes and training records are documented with a rigorous system to review and improvement.
What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Advanced practical knowledge of SAP required, Athena and Qlikview are desirable.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships across the wider organization, as interdepartmental cooperation and understanding is essential for the success of the department
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
