Summary
Due to the continued success and the growth of CtK IT Services within our primary schools, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and hard-working IT Technician. You will provide IT support for staff, students, governors and visitors and provide high quality support for the Operations and IT Network Manager.

CtK IT Services provides IT support and strategic development currently to 4 local primary schools and 1 secondary school.

The estate is made up of approximately:
  • 300 Apple Devices (majority managed either by Meraki or Lightspeed)
  • 700 windows 10 devices (mixture of laptops and desktops)
  • 70 Interactive Screens (C-Touch)
  • Fortinet or Ruckus Wireless
  • HP Switching Infrastructure
  • 2019 RDS Solution
  • 40 Virtual Servers (2012 & 2019)
  • 150 Staff
  • 1200 Student Users
  • Office 365

Essential Qualifications
  • 5 GCSE’s graded C or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths
Desirable Qualifications
  • Relevant IT qualification eg NVQ, CompTIA A+, MCP, Apprenticeship

Essential Experience
  • Experience of installing and configuring computer hardware and software
  • Good working knowledge of PC operating systems including Windows 10
  • Experience of working with and troubleshooting Windows server technologies
  • Active Directory
  • MDT
  • Group Policy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to relate well to students (Primary and Secondary ages)
  • Ambition to learn and develop in the role
  • Previous experience of working in an IT Suppo
