Summary
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated Teaching Assistant.
The post is a permanent variable hours contract with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per week. First year 32.5 hours per week.

Hours will be reviewed annually when setting the budget.

  • Have practical experience of IT to support children’s learning
  • Have high expectations of both themselves and of the children

  • Have a good working knowledge of the primary curriculum and excellent numeracy and literacy skills

  • Be able to nurture and inspire, challenge and motivate pupils
  • Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities, when relevant. Be resilient, hardworking and dedicated to helping the school achieve success
Essential Qualifications
  • Maths or English GCSE or equivalent (A-C)
Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or BTEC in a related area
Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
