Job Description

IT Support Technician, £22,000 per annum + benefits, Permanent, Ilminster, Monday to Thursday.

Smart Recruitment is proud to represent a Global manufacturing company with facilities in Europe, USA, Asia, India, China and Russia. Due to continued expansion they need to add to their IT Team to provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person as well as maintain computer hardware and software with an IT Support Technician

As an IT Support Technician your responsibilities will include:

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
Help maintain inventory of computer equipment and software licenses.
Assist with network maintenance and administration.
Support the deployment of new software and hardware.

As an IT Support Technician you will ensure professional customer service delivery, supported by good communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to have sound problem solving with the ability to know when to ask for support yourself. You must have a sound working knowledge of Hardware and Software and Familiarity with Microsoft Products.
