Our client situated in Carlisle, are on the look out for an IT Support Engineer to join their Head Quarters of a multi-site group of businesses covering North England.
An exciting role where every day is different, but fun!
Supporting the smooth operations of the IT & Softwares throughout the group, you will be a valuable resource for the award winning business and it’s success.

The job:
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for resolving requests and service tickets.
Along with identifying, diagnosing and rectifying any issues with computer hardware, software, services, and applications.
Being a key support to the IT Manager with all activities related with administration, control, planning and implementation of technology infrastructure.
Tasks include:
  • Telephone/email support to colleagues.
  • Respond in a timely manner to support requests and queries.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, and applications.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults or hardware complications.
  • Support IT projects, such as cyber security initiatives, hardware replacement/upgrades, and the integration of new technologies.
  • Setting up new user accounts and profiles on the network, along with resolving password issues.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple open calls at one time.
  • Complete configuration and testing of new equipment prior to the installation.
  • Liaise with 3rd party support companies as required.

Hours & Package:
Monday to Friday
8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Up to £32,500 depending on experience.
Paid overtime available.
Company car will be provided.
