Red Recruitment is excited to be recruiting an IT Support Engineer with previous industry experience to join a Gloucester-based team. This role is dynamic in nature, covering all aspects of modern IT support and a great opportunity to join a hard-working team and further your engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities of an IT Support Engineer:

  • Providing helpdesk support (the company is a VAR for SMB’s)
  • Assisting clients with the migration of on-premises, to modern cloud-based systems
  • Communicating with clients via telephone, video, email, and face-to-face visits in Gloucester and the surrounding areas
  • Remote monitoring and managing

Key Skills of an IT Support Engineer:

  • At least 4 years of industry experience
  • A good working knowledge of modern window based operating systems and networking is essential
  • The ability to provide Microsoft 365 Systems Admin and migration and Implementation support is essential
  • The ability to install Windows 11 OS and Windows Server OS and provide support is essential
  • Understanding of IPv4 networking
  • Knowledge of GDPR
