Red is recruiting friendly Zero Carbon Living Advisors to join a market leading energy company in Glasgow, whose aim is to make energy cheaper, greener, and simpler. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new venture to aid their energy plan to be zero carbon by 2035.

Package and Benefits of a Zero Carbon Living Advisor:

  • Salary: £21,878 per annum
  • Location:Glasgow
  • Contract:37 hours per week
  • Hours:Monday to Friday between 8:00 am - 6:15 pm and 1 in 12 Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • 7-week training period
  • 34 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

Key Responsibilities of a Zero Carbon Living Advisor:

  • Providing outstanding service to customers, ensuring their needs are met, and educating them on the company’s Plan Zero mission
  • Engaging via telephone, email, and webchat contacts
  • Quickly understanding the root cause of the customer contact, whilst taking ownership to solve queries first time and prevent repeat contact
  • Coaching teammates in areas where you have a deeper level of knowledge or skill, including helping to answer a customer query in the moment
  • Taking ownership for the success of the entire team
  • Autonomously managing your day, and ensuring the overall objectives of the team are achieved
  • Preparing, attending, and actively contributing at meetings as appropriate


Skills and Experience of a Zero Carbon Living Advisor:

  • Enthusiastic and driven to solve other people’s problems and go above and beyond to keep customers happy
  • True multitasking skills to easily maintain a high-quality conversation with a customer whilst supporting a colleague with a query
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the capability to retain and wealth of information
  • A great team player that enjoys collaborating and solving problems with others
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks
