Our Group IT function are looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager who can help deliver on key strategic business and operations based projects, from initiation to closure. The dimensions of the role are:

Dimensions

Providing Project Management delivery services for IT products and solutions across all Princes Group worldwide.

Liaising with senior stakeholders in the Princes business.

Manage virtual teams of up to 50 including internal and external resources.

Management of key implementation projects with an asset value of up to £2 million per annum

Principal Responsibilities

Perform the role of IT Project Manager delivering products and solutions across all Princes Group worldwide

Work within the PMO to determine how the PMO function can add value to the organization and customer satisfaction

Analyse project proposals to determine timeline, funding requirements, communication methods and appropriate delivery methodology to achieve project goals in line with business objectives

Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan.

Create and manage RAID logs

Engage senior leadership and business partners to deliver the project mission, goals and operating model.

Follow defined project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery

Contribute to opportunities to improve the project management best practices in order to achieve higher maturity within the PMO.

Contribute to PMO community of practice to facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing among project managers.

About you:

  • Have at least 5 years’ experience in implementing projects, ideally in an FMCG organisation.
  • A working knowledge of manufacturing projects is desired, but not essential
  • Deep understanding of project and change management methods.
  • Strong Project Delivery skills and demonstrated practice.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft applications – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project
  • Project management certification e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Scrum Master
  • Practical demonstrated experience will be considered above and ahead of any formal qualifications.
