Overview

Please note this is a part time role based on 3 days per week.

Job Purpose

Ensure the smooth running of SAP based data systems. Create new multi-level Bills on Materials (BOMs) within SAP / MES (Manufacturing Execution System) based on NPD pipeline.

Dimensions

The department launches c300 NPD/EPD products each year taking briefs from all the major food retailers.

Department of a Senior NPD Manager, NPD Managers and Development Technologists of varying experience.

Contact with internal stakeholders within Planning, Operations and Technical.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Creation of Technical Specifications (Product detail sheets).
  • Creation of multi-level BOMs within SAP / MES systems.
  • Amendment of live BOMs within SAP / MES based on product / schedule changes.
  • Creation of Maexstro (Sign-off) routings. Management of signoff timing in line with product / project critical path.
  • Maintenance of paperwork / label templates and coding requirements live products.
  • Maintenance of NPD nutritional database.
  • Assist NPD staff members with SAP based questions, RM code details, where used.
  • Integrate fully with MES Manufacturing Master Data team.
  • Assist in other NPD activities where required.
Qualifications, Background And Experience
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferable.
  • Understanding of Master Data that controls the behaviour of an MES system.
  • Experience of using SAP / inputting data into an MES system.0pok
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with multiple business stakeholders
  • Highly computer literate with solid competency in Excel and SAP
