Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to have partnered with a leading Financial Service client in recruiting an experienced IT Infractructuer Analyst. You will be responsible for organising and overseeing the life cycle and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and systems management components.

Main Duties
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Serving as up to third level of contact for complex end-user support issues, server support, networking issues and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Serving as a technical expert to less experienced staff.
  • Participate in infrastructure or technical projects as well as helping the Infrastructure and Helpdesk Manager in the day to day running of the IT team and systems.
  • Updating documentation when required.
  • Work with colleagues within the Infrastructure team and the Development team
Person/Experience Required
  • Able to work in a team or solely on task/projects
  • Able to take the initiative when working on tasks to complete to high standard
  • Able to think outside the box when problem solving
  • Able to lead and support colleagues in their tasks
  • Able to complete tasks and projects within time scales
Essential Experience
  • Linux Operating Systems (Oracle Linux, Redhat) setup and administration/maintenance
  • Networking TCP/IP fundamentals including routing and vlans in a multi-site organisation.
