The Yorkshire & Humber Region are looking to recruit an Intelligence Development Officer (IDO) to support the YH Regional Organised Crime Unit and 4 Yorkshire and Humber Police Forces.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a national coordinated response to increase the knowledge, awareness and use of financial intelligence in the fight against serious and organised crime.

The successful applicant will be working in a dynamic environment and need to be a committed team player, with an understanding of financial intelligence, fraud and money laundering.

To apply you should have current knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and the handling, use and development of intelligence. The ideal candidate will also have experience working within a Law enforcement agency and a working understanding of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. Excellent organisation and communication skills to be able to work across all aspects of the YH Regional Organised Crime Unit and with forces and national partners,. You must also be comfortable working both independently and alongside the intelligence and investigative functions.

In addition you must be able to work flexible hours to suit business needs, have the ability to travel for business purposes and be willing to work at other sites across the regional area other than your normal place of work. This role will be suitable for a degree of agile working following a probationary period.
